Katya has spent more than a decade at AmLaw 100 firms advising companies, boards of directors and creditor constituencies in complex restructurings and other high-stakes special situations. She brings extensive experience navigating distressed investments, liquidity constraints and complicated capital structures, guiding stakeholders through Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, liability management transactions and contested matters.

Katya began her career representing banks and investment funds in structured finance and – in addition to her core restructuring practice – has since advised companies and fiduciaries on strategic investments and combinations, financings and governance matters.

Katya has also served in internal counsel roles, providing practical, business-oriented advice informed by an understanding of how legal decisions affect operations, stakeholder relationships and long-term growth.

Outside of her practice, Katya enjoys doting on her dog and pursuing creative outlets, including sewing.
